A great place to grab a bite to eat with the family! Perfect portion sizes, I would recommend the French Onion burger, and the Cookie Skillet was a huge hit with the kiddos!Plenty of parking and close to Como Zoo and Conservatory.

Lots of delicious food. Good variety of wing sauces. Everything from apps, salads, to main entrees is good. Usually running some sort of drink specials as well daily and a monthly beer special.

The Friday night fish fry in March is all you can eat for dinner for $12.99 (as of 3/16/18). They have beer battered fries, and the fish is moist and not dry. The cookie skillet for dessert is a great choice for a group.

Great local place to grab a good bite to eat and have a drink anytime of the year. Service is always good, and there is food specials every day of the week. Don't forget the free cookie sundae on your birthday!

The food here was very tasty! The salsa and chips tasted fresh, and the fries were bomb. My boyfriend really liked the elk burger, but they forgot to put bacon on it (basically the reason he gets any burgers). The waitress gave us a little attitude "didn't you check your burger", which my boyfriend definitely didn't like. His thoughts were, if I'm paying 12 dollars for a burger I'd expect the right recipes to be in there and just enjoy the food without having to look in it. That was the only fault in our visit here, otherwise, the food was great! 🌮🍔

Went there as a kid. Don't remember too much of that except for the obvious fact that it was delicious. The one time I went there recently I ordered a reuben. So good

Gabe's has good beer and drinks. I go there on Tuesdays for their "Taco Tuesdays." Friendly staff and ok service. It's a good place to stop.

Had the breakfast burger and it was very good. Price was reasonable, but didn't come with enough french fries(which were also very good). The atmosphere is good if you like sports bars with loud speakers. Service was friendly and quick.

Sports bar atmosphere, great and friendly service! Station 991 burger is delicious! Just the right amount of spice, with fresh jalapenos, ghost pepper cheese and spicy aoli. Shy away from the Asian chicken salad. It's a sodium bomb.I recommend and will return!

Love this place, went here everyday for lunch for a week straight. Bar food is incredible, people are super kind and welcoming! Really a great place to go, eat, drink, and just have a relaxing great time

Wicked good food! Clever and delectable twists on pub food. Waitress had excellent recommendations when you are having a tough time choosing between options.

This is an awesome neighborhood bar restaurant. the food is always top-notch prices are reasonable and there's always a friendly atmosphere. it has a good happy hour was always plenty of people to talk to and if you want to be a hermit you can go in the back room and be by yourself. Just stop on in and have a good time it's always friendly here.

The server was pleasant and friendly but very slow and rather negligent. Our drinks weren't delivered until we were almost done eating our appetizer. We waited a long time before our order was taken. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious. Plates were cleared in a timely manner. After we finished eating, we would have liked another drink but the server was nowhere to be found. It had to have been 20 minutes before we saw him and flagged him over. We asked for the check and a takeout box. Several minutes later we saw him walk by, do a double take, then he went and got a box but still no checks. It was several more minutes before the checks were delivered. Overall not a terrible experience. I have been to Gabe's many times and this is the only time service has been substandard. I would still recommend the place because the food is excellent and the service is usually great.

Great local spot! Excellent food, excellent service. Not many places with this kind of History left. Go check it out if you haven't been there.

This place has a real cozy neighborhood feel. Nestled in the Como Park neighborhood of St Paul, this bar and grill was the perfect place to stop after a visit to the zoo and conservatory. The staff treats you like family and gosh darn why not bring the kids with ya?! It's very family friendly and while we were there we witnessed 2 separate birthday parties taking place. While my wife and I only had drinks(the beers were cold and cheap) the food looked and smelled delicious. We will definitely be back soon.

Great food and drink specials during the weekdays. My favorites include burger Mondays, steak Wednesdays and build your own bloody on Sunday! Tons of ingredients to build the perfect bloody Mary! Fully stocked bar with experienced bartenders. Chicken wings, Black and Bleu Beef Tips, the loaded gouda fries are my favorite appetizers which are $2 off during Happy Hour!They have a dog friendly outdoor patio with water bowls available for your furry friends.

The burger with cheese curds was delicious with the loaded baked potato was soo good. We went on a Thursday walked in on bingo. The stakes were pretty high. I only wish I had gotten there sooner to be apart of the game.

I loved this place!! I was accidentally served the wrong order and I didn't notice. Jeff came over later with the right burger and comped me my order. Both burgers I had were very good! They were so kind here and they joked with us and made us feel super welcome! I will definitely be bringing more of my friends here! Thank you for your kindness and the great food!

Say Bye, Bye to Giggles! The bathroom remodeling is on point. Their staff is awesome! Happy to support my local establishment. The DJ offered diverse music all night accommodating all customers. I am very impressed with the new owners.

Just went in for a drink with some friends. The bar was busy because of a sports ball game but they accommodated the large corner booth for our group of 8. The server was sweet and didnt seem mad that we were in for "one and done". Beer menue was extensive and the food menu looked great. Atmosphere was typical bar, lots of wood, and the dining room was not very large.

Typical neighborhood bar. Local old guys at the bar during happy hour, then a younger crowd comes in. Always some really drunk people. The resteraunt area is wide open in the bar so very loud. Some of the food is really good, but most is typical bar food. You can always get some hot tater tots, kind of the lost art of spuds, that are very yummy. Tonight I had pizza fries with Italian sausage. They were good. Not set the world on fire good but good, and a large portion also. I couldn't even finish the order. Sausage was also good but over powering because there was too much of it. Garlic butter on the crust could have used more garlic or could have just been over powered by sausage. My son had cheeseburger and fries from the kids menu. He is a big eater but this was a snack after school and before an appointment. He couldn't finish the burger and fries either. Reasonably priced and quick service.Will be going back to try the Elk burger sometime soon.

Some of the best service I've ever had - thank you Halyn! The loaded Gouda tots and the Chicken Wild Rice Soup were fantastic! Only 4 stars as per their pulled pork (Big Pig) sandwich. The meat was very salty and the bottom bun was sopped in liquid. Will definitely go back for the soup alone!

Great place for a burger and a beer. I love their blackened walleye tacos. Good parking, staff all friendly and efficient. Patio seating is very nice.
